Bakerdays Personalised Mother's Day Cake Review!

With Mother's Day coming up on the 10th March I'm sure everyone is on the lookout for something special to get for their lovely Mums so when I was contacted by Bakerdays to try one of their Personalised Mothers Day Cakes I jumped at the chance (I never say no to cake lol)

Bakerdays is a website that makes personalised cakes for any occasion, they come in three different sizes, large (50-60 portions), small (8-12 portions) or letterbox (4-5 portions) and they also sell cupcakes! The cakes come in several different flavours too including sponge cake, carrot cake, fruit cake, gluten and wheat free cake and double chocolate chip cake.

With over 400 designs to choose from it's easy to find the right cake for you and every cake can be personalised with a special message and a photo. I chose a sponge, letterbox cake with 'Best Mum' and 'Love From Riley' on it.

Their letterbox cakes are designed to fit through your letterbox so the recipient doesn't have to be in when it's delivered and it comes packaged in a lovely cake tin to prevent damage to the cake whilst being delivered.

I was really impressed with how lovely the cake looked and how well it was packaged, I'll definitely be keeping the little tin to use again.

I'm not sure what I expected the actual cake to taste like but I have to say I was really surprised at how yummy it was, the sponge was really light and fresh! It was delicious and stays fresh for 10-12 days provided they're kept in a cool, dry place like the fridge.
