Mummy Mondays - Boo Boo Mummy Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak Review!

Hi Ladies!

This week for Mummy Mondays I'm reviewing Boo Boo Mummy Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak, I got a sample of this sent to me from the Aptamil Baby Club (I think they sent it to me but it was a few weeks ago and with my baby brain you never know lol).

I hadn't heard of Boo Boo before receiving the sample so I had a look at their website to find out more about them, by the way they have the cutest website ever! Boo Boo was started in 2008 by two ex-magazine editor friends Jennifer and Corinna who fell pregnant at the same time and were less than impressed with the range of natural products on offer to pregnant women so they decided to design and formulate their own.

Boo Boo products are paraben free and contain no sulphates, TEA, petrochemicals, synthetic colours, DEA or PEGS. They have a wide range of products for pregnant women and babies and their baby skincare range won gold in the Mother and Baby Awards 2012/13.

I was sent the Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak which I couldn't wait to try as having a nice soak in a hot bath really helps to ease my aching back at the moment. I really like the packaging of these products, I think they look so cute and a bit vintage.

The bath soak contains white water lily to deeply moisturise, chamomile and arnica to soothe tired and achy muscles and leave skin super supple and natural rose extract to help calm and pamper your skin.

The first thing I noticed about the Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak when I poured it into my bath was the fact that it doesn't foam up which was a little disappointing as I do like bubbles in my bath but the product doesn't claim to create bubbles so I can't really complain about that. The scent of the bath soak is really nice and not overpowering at all which is great as when you're pregnant you develop a super sense of smell which means that strong scents can be too much for me and end up making me feel quite nauseous.

When I got out of the bath and got dry I definitely noticed my skin felt really moisturised and the skin on my bump didn't feel as tight and itchy which was really nice. I was really impressed and will definitely continue using it and maybe try some of the other products in the range, I really like the look of the Soft & Creamy Body Smoother which helps prevent stretch marks and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

If you want to try the Splendidly Soothing Bath Soak then go to the Boo Boo website by clicking here, the 250ml bottle is £10.99 and the 50ml bottle is £5.

Has anyone else tried any Boo Boo products? If so what did you think? Also if you're pregnant have you joined all the many different baby clubs out there? Many of them offer really good freebies and money off vouchers so they're worth signing up to, if you'd like me to do a post on all the best clubs to join let me know!
